OBJ: Students will develop the ability to understand the key concepts of Chemical Reactions and be able to answer these questions. 

Lesson 1 - Key Concepts: 
1. What are some signs that a chemical reaction might have occurred?
2. What happens to atoms during a chemical reactions?
3. What happens to the total mass of the reactants in a chemical reaction?

Activity:
- Review the “Problem of the Day”. Have students present the steps and talk through the solution.
